Worst. Blog. Ever.

Cliff Lyon’s OneUtah.org has been nominated as “Worst Blog Ever” by Bush War Policy advocate “A Soldiers Perspective”.

Why?

Because CJ over at ASP disagrees with Cliff.

Silly.

Might I remind CJ that OneUtah has more traffic than anyone else in the Bloghive.   No one else is even close.

Cliff is taking it in stride and has asked that we all go ahead and vote  for him, here.

Congratulations, Cliff!  Your blog sucks!

Thanks for your support. Wish us luck!

It doesn’t take a doctorate, college or high school education, or even much by way of reading skills to see that I am not responsible for nominating OU for “Worst Blog Ever”. Really, all you have to do is be able to do is know how to use a simple computer mouse. My only contribution is helping to promote the “competition” on ASP. But, if you want to continue to mislead your readers with tripe that isn’t “credible well referenced” (to use Cliff’s own words), go right ahead. I just want to make sure that credit goes where credit is due.

    Signed,

    CJ the “Obedient Bush Follower”

    CJ,

Why even promote it? Isn’t this a little silly to denounce somone simply because you disagree?

Let’s all be friends instead! Kumbayah!

Cliff is a liberal, I’m a libertarian. We’re not going to agree on economics, but we still remain good buddies. Why the vitriol, CJ? I just don’t get it.

PS- CJ, I’ve always found the way you censor dissenting comments on your site quite distasteful. Criticism should be welcomed and then challenged.

Oh, and congrats on the Bloghive success, whatever that means. Might I remind you that ASP gets three times (our 12,229 average monthly visits vs. OU’s 4,345) the traffic as OU, is ranked more than 51,000 places higher on Technorati than OU, and we’re more qualified to talk about what’s going in Iraq than OU because we’ve been there (or are there now). I mean, I didn’t want to mention it, but in the interest of being “well referenced” I thought your readers would like to know. And maybe we could thank you for some of that traffic, so thanks.

Do I disagree with Cliff? Mostly. But, he’s still a good person when he’s not trying to be someone else.

Tom, I don’t censor dissenting comments. I censor people like Cliff who come in there being someone he’s not (Milmom comes to mind). I have no vitriole. There was nothing hateful in my promotion of the contest. Hell, Hawk and CriticalFacts has been over there forever because they know how to actually debate without using stupidity and deception. I love Cliff. He helped us donate $2500 to those ballerinas.

    CJ,

I have made posts in MY real name challenging your support for the Bush War Policy that were never approved by the moderator. You do censor dissension.

Oh yes, and one more thing, the technorati ratings don’t mean a thing

OneUtah’s target audience: 2.6 million Utahns
ASP’s target audience: 300 million Americans

Actually, Tom, you weren’t “censored” (banned is a more appropriate term) for your stance on the Bush War Policy. You were “censored” for your association with Cliff and not denouncing his immorale actions on my site and others in attempting to convince people through the use of a fake Gold Star Mother. It’s dispicable conduct. It’s just coincidence that you also disagree with me on Bush’s policy.
