  1. I hate to say it Tom, but whoever forwarded that to you is stupid. The Aggies aren’t good, but that email was from the start of last season when the offense couldn’t score for 4 games. This team is different, but I guess just like the Aggies offense the “so called” Aggie fans can’t come up with something original either.

  2. John,

This team is improved, but unfortunately that will be questioned by some because the improvement is unlikely to translate into many wins. I am confident they will win at least 1 game, but an ofer is possible.

I just hope the masses don’t grab pitchforks and torches and go for Guy at the end of the season. Big mistake. Who are we going to get to replace him? If we keep getting rid of coaches every 3-4 years, who will want to come here?

Another year with Guy will yield fruit. 5-6 wins next year.

  3. I’d love to believe that 5-6 wins is feasible next season, Tom. I really would. I agree that nothing can be resolved by canning Guy, but the question is really, can anyone win in Logan at this level and with the current facilities? I hope I’m proven wrong, but I don’t think so. I wish they would consider downgrading to I-AA. There are a lot of great atmospheres at that level. Appalachian State beat Michigan on opening day this year, for goodness’ sake. But the powers that be seem to be deluded into thinking USU is like everyone else, and will probably convince themselves at the end of the season that another coaching change is the solution. Whatever poor fool comes to commit career suicide will see a lot of parallels to the L.A. Clippers if the university doesn’t change its thinking.
