Meaningless political buzz words
Inspired by my weekend trip to Portland, Oregon and the regional fast food joint Burgerville (slogan: choose fresh. local. sustainable choose burgerville), we’re listing off and outing all meaningless political buzzwords in discourse today.
Here’s our list so far:
- Sustainability
- Smart Growth
- Green
- Reagan Republican
- “It’s right thing to do”
- Moderate
- Diversity
- Synergy
- Political capital
- Surge
- Benchmark
- Blue Ribbon Task Force
- Gravitas
Feel free to list your own meaningless phrases or call in tonight.
-Tom
