Cache Valley Illuminati lunch next week?

Hey everyone,

Let’s get together for a CV Illuminati lunch next week?

For those unfamiliar, CV Illuminati is just a spiced up name for a group of local bloggers that get together for lunch on occassion.  I think the original idea came from jess and/or Craig, and basically a bunch of us geeks come out from behind the shadows of our keyboard for some socializing.

Everyone’s invited whether you’re a regular voice here or just a lurker.    We’re a welcoming bunch and you’ll immediately be among friends.

The question is when and where next week?

Which of the following days works best for everyone: Tue. Wed or Thu?

And how about we try that Thai Restaurant by the Baugh Motel?

I’m in. Any of those days works for me, but I’d vote Thursday. Also, the restaurant sounds fine. Jess gets the credit for starting this up.

I could make any of those times work.

YAY! For going Thai. I think that the valley needs to do its best to support these tasty ethnic eateries. I still cannot believe we have multiple choices for sushi in this valley, let alone Indian and Thai!

    P.S.
Stop by and say hello! We are all available for photos and autographs from the adoring public!

    Heh. :D

I absolutely LOVE peanut curry. There is a great Thai place in SLC on South Temple that Karen and I go to a lot called Sawadee. Fantastic. I’ve heard good things about Kamin, but haven’t tried it yet. Have any of you?

Yup. I have tried it. I LOVE Thai because of the peanuts (And the coconut milk. mmmm….) My favorite restaurant in SLC is Thaifoon, which is thai fusion. I will have to try Sawadee the next time I am down there.

Yup, I have been to Kamin a few times. They have really good Satay and a pretty good Pad Thai. Their curry is yum, too.

Stay away from the corn appetizer, though. It sucks.

I want to go if Jess is going to be there. But I won’t be able to make it to Logan.

Funny how this turned into a discussion on food. There is a great little place on State Street in SLC called Thai Siam. And a lot of good Indian food. I can’t believe Logan has some ethnic places now. I don’t remember Thai or Indian being there when I left in 2004.

I say we stick to Noon as our “Usual Time” but what day????? I don’t feel I have the right to pick as I do not work away from home, so one of you other busy people decide. :)
