This was such an interesting part of the convention. Leavitt’s staffers wearing their Leavitt orange shirts came in mass onto the convention floor carrying signs for Cannon. Several people booed them and they were asked by the vice chair to leave. A few minutes later a sign emerged on the balcony that stated, “Leavitt supports Cannon” the vice chair asked that it be removed and someone removed it a few minutes later. Then Cannon and Leavitt appeared on the floor together arm-in-arm waving to the crowd. Several people booed this as well. In the end, it looks like Chaffetz and Cannon will battle it out in the polls!
