  1. I really hope someone can go to this and blog about it. I’d love to hear what he is about. I’m pretty sure he is heavily invested in Natural Gas, and solar and wind are kind of a smokescreen. At least it is an intelligent alternative to ‘drill here, drill now’. OPEC announced yesterday it was cutting back oil production, obviously to manipulate the ‘supply and demand’ economics we always here about. This will always happen in the global energy market. We are at its mercy until we decide otherwise. Poor peanut farmin’ Carter, dumbest president ever……….Bring on the Billy Beer!!!!

  2. Pickens is invested in wind, which means this proposal would have financial benefits for him. Also, in Pickens’ second commercial, he said he’s all in favor of domestic drilling. Can Bowen say that?

  3. Picken’s also has one of the largest chains of natural gas filling stations in the country. But some of the things he says makes some sense. I just wish someone would attend the meeting (or ask Morgan) what I am going to do on those cold winter nights when the wind isn’t blowing. How I am going to keep my house warm?

I guess we could build a coal fired plant for those occasions. But coal plants need to run 24 hours a day (you can’t flip a switch and turn them on and off). And that makes wind pretty much redundant to coal.
