Fellow Aggies,
I hope that you share my feeling of disgust and insult that Dave Rose has weaseled out of playing in the Spectrum. When BYU dominated the series in the late 80′s and early 90′s, USU had no problem playing in Provo. Now that the tables have turned for the past decade and a half, BYU no longer feels the need to honor the tradition of the rivalry, and that is frankly disgusting.
If Dave Rose won’t come to the Spectrum, the as Aggie fans I hope that the Spectrum is taken to Dave Rose on December 6th when BYU and USU play at Radio Active Arena in Salt Lake City. Please mark your calendars and make the trip down to Salt Lake. This is a game that should have been in Logan, in the Spectrum with all it’s magic and slpendor. As Aggie fans we have been robbed, and the best way to exact justice and punishment is to fill Radio Active Arena with rabid, angry, hostile, insulted AGGIES.
There is a Facebook group here where you can RSVP for the event. Make sure that you let all your friends on Facebook and in real life know how important it is to go to this game on December 6th.

It’d be great to see Aggie fans noticeably outnumber BYU at the arena.
Maybe the Facebook group could be used to set-up some ride-share groups as well?
If a lot of Aggie fans show up, the arena will be full, and Rose can say, “Look, this neutral site thing succeeded, let’s do it every year.” You will be playing into his hands. I’d boycott.
I’ve confirmed with a former BYU player that the Spectrum is too hard to play and win in, and this is the reason that Dave Rose is doing this. I thought there may had been other factors in this decision, but no, they just dont want to loose in Logan.

And I will be there December 6.
I just tried to purchase a ticket online and they are available only to season ticket holders and Big Blue members! Is there anyone out there who can help?
