I don’t know how on earth it can be true, but the Deseret News is reporting that in their latest joint poll with a Salt Lake TV/Radio conglomerate, Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. has an approval rating of…90 PERCENT.
I don’t know what the margin of error was in this poll. I also think that n=Jon and Mary Kaye Huntsman, if you know what I mean…
But seriously, is his rating so high (only Michael Leavitt in 1996 had a rating as high at 90 percent before) because doing nothing is better than doing something bad? Or is he really affecting change for the better here in Utah?

Having a 90% approval rating usually means mandate. Still, it will be interesting to see how much resistance remains among legislators to some of his proposed changes to our liquor laws.
Margin of error – almost certainly 10% because we all know that in Utah he is supposed to have a 100% approval rating.
