Predictions for how Senator Buttars and his people will respond to the latest gaffe

Like clockwork, Senator Buttars has offered his annual bigoted Gaffe of the Session.   Let me go on the record an predict by this time tomorrow Senator Buttars (or his minions like Gayle Ruzicka), will avoid responsibility for these comments by claiming:

• that they were taken out of context by a biased/liberal/”gotcha” media.
• OR alternatively Buttars himself will attempt to change the context of the statements themselves to something more innocuous.  I have no idea how he will do this, but it will be very creative and involved extraordinary mental gymnastics.
• And finally, we will hear from the Ruzicka crowd that Senator Buttars is a victim! HE’s a victim because he stands up for truth and righteousness and evil forces oppose him!
