8 comments on “Sen. Chris Buttars compares gays to radical Muslims

  1. Am I the only one who thinks that it’s an equally, if not more fair comparison to say that Chris Buttars is to the anti-gay rights fight what radical Muslims are to Islam? At least when comparing to “some gays?”

  2. Let me go on the record an predict by this time tomorrow Senator Buttars (or his minions like Gayle Ruzicka), will avoid responsibility for these comments by claiming that

    1) They were taken out of context by a biased/liberal/”gotcha” media.
    2) OR alternatively Buttars himself will attempt to change the context of the statements themselves to something more innocuous.
    3) And finally, we will hear from the Ruzicka crowd that Senator Buttars is a victim! HE’s a victim because he stands up for truth and righteousness and evil forces oppose him!

Take these predictions to the bank!

  4. Jason,

This should be good news for you. You do not think radical Muslims are a real problem. By this reasoning, Buttars is calling gays docile.

Only Utah could produce a bigot of such magnitude. He is emboldened when his people defend his comments.

Buttars is not the exception in Utah, he is the Golden Rule. Disgraceful man.
