And knowing a little more about the type of waste that is and would be stored at that location heightens my dislike for Governor Huntsman's 'veto no matter what' attitude. Moreover, I would really like to know (if the 2.5% cuts are factual) whether administrators would be participating in the decrease in salary. From my own observations, when there is extra money to go around, administrators take what they want, then pass the scraps left over on to the teachers & other employees. I would not be one bit surprised to discover that administration salaries are remaining unchanged with a few still receiving a little bump. FF, I agree with you. There is already so much pressure on our teachers to crank out kids at grade level and adding another half dozen to the mix is not going to help. Nukes or a lottery. LOL. I'm sick thinking of how this will effect our local public schools but we have incredible teachers and staff in our valley and they will continue to be fabulous amidst the budget cuts.
