Gov. Next President Huntsman vetoed the video games bill that was giving the ESRB and many Utahns heartburn, on Wednesday. This is the bill that Misty Fowler at Saintless first brought to your attention, and it would’ve penalized businesses who said they don’t sell M-rated video games to minors but get caught selling M-rated video games to minors.

We’ll now sit back and wait and see if the Legislature wants to try and override Huntsman’s veto. I’m going to go ahead and predict they won’t, because even they will realize this bill wasn’t worth their time.
