We should all know exactly how President Benson would have dealt with this agenda. His constant vigilance against anti-constitutional scams in sheep's clothing gives it away. This man-made global warming agenda fits his exact descriptions of freedom-robbing scams, laws and policies as he identified the scammers: "Turn your lives over to us so we can save you and make all your fears (which we create with our clever lies) go away..."

This all ties in tightly to my favorite and oldest hobby - astronomy. My love and ongoing interest in astronomy helped me realize that there really was nothing out there to “get me” in the dark, under the beautiful night-time sky. I also learned from astronomy that astrology is just a bunch of bunk as well. The principles of learning about astronomy also leads to looking at opposing theories and not being intimidated into rejecting or ignoring other theories and views.

Well, look at the ilk of those who avidly support these types of agenda - clever attorneys, politicians (FDR Huntsman...), etc…

Real scientists and astronomers could only find 35 issues in Algore’s movie to be lies and hysteria, trying to crowd out any dissenting voice of reason and evidence. These types of agendas (as President Benson and our founding fathers pointed out clearly and specifically) are only based on lies and hysteria aimed at getting all of us to believe those lies. Man-made global warming hysteria is no different than the DV agenda and other equally dishonest and fraudulent agendas.

Okelberry,

You are usually quite prompt in commenting at OneUtah whenever anyone mentions religion or church, but I haven't seen your comment yet on my latest post there (Come Come Ye Saints). Were you disappointed that I had something positive to say about religious people?

When you say bigotry doesn't rest, Okelberry, I assume you include your own.

I'm pretty sure that the Church will address possible climate change in some way, but it will probably be related to temporal welfare and preparedness issues more than political action. If they do make an official statement, they will surely refer to more scientifically reputable sources than Mr. Gore.

I’m waiting for someone over at OneUtah dot Org to figure out an excuse to bash the LDS Church over this. Bigotry is bigotry and it doesn’t rest.
