Tonight Sutherland President Paul Mero will wax conservative on health care reform in the Mero Moment. Is it a privilege or a right? Jon, Tyler, and I will discuss after listening.
I expect to disagree with him vehemently. Or maybe not, he often surprises me.
This and more tonight, 4pm to 6pm.
Your calls are welcome.

In what other industry does the quality of my neighbors things effect the quality of my things. If he has a bad car or no car it does not effect my car or its ability to operate correctly. In Health if he can’t afford care his disease can easily become my disease, His poor quality of health can effect my quality of health.
When all is said and done the best argument for health care being a right isn’t that I want it as a right for myself its that I don’t want others poor access to health care to effect my quality of health.
Right on the mark, Paul!
FDR introduced and proposed a Second Bill of Rights. All of these rights are just as you said – rights that only prisoners have.
I would rather not be a prisoner in my own country as Soviet, Chinese and Nazis socialists/communists and others have been. FDR’s Second Bill of Rights was strictly socialist-based. FDR was out to prove that he could do socialism better than the inept Nazi and Soviet socialists just couldn’t seem to pull off. Obama and so many around him have revived that ambition, to do socialism right this time around. Can he do it?
