In all seriousness though, it&#039;s very cool when things like this happen.  There are stories lately (growing increasingly frequent) of fans using Facebook etc to even pressure record companies into releasing material they hadn&#039;t planned to (I think it was Fionna Apple in 2005... record company wasn&#039;t going to release her cd, dump it on a smaller distribution platform so no one would get a chance to buy it, etc, fans pestered them into doing it with a facebook group and email campaign).

Love that stuff.  And consider the cross over effect it could have (has had occasionally) in politics.  Very cool.</description>
