They’re awfully proud of themselves. They succeeded in putting me out of business with HB0389. If I could vote against them I would. But I will vote against my own disinterested legislators (Knudson, Webb) and try to get everyone else to also.

A group of citizens in Franklin County are organizing a TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party rally in front of the Franklin County Court House (39 West Oneida, in Preston) on Wednesday, April 15,
5:00 p.m., the day tax returns are to be mailed. The TEA Party
is part of a national movement to protest the spending of trillions
of dollars which will leave our great-grandchildren a debt they must pay.

Nationwide rallies are being promoted by American Family Association. Rallies are scheduled in over eighteen hundred cities across the nation. More information about the rallies can be found on the internet at TEAPartyDay.com.

    Hey Guys!
I was just traveling around as most soccer moms do and I saw something I’ve never seen before. On the corner of 200 West and 400 North there were about 4 police cars (don’t worry I see THAT a lot in Logan lol) and a gal standing over a body on a stretcher and a police man zipping it up, I’m assuming a dead body… weird thing is, there was no ambulance or fire truck…It just struck me as odd, thought I’d pass it along. Maybe it will connect to something that happened earlier or later…Either way- it was just weird.

Can you tell me if you still have the picture online? I am watching my grandkids and can’t make it to the library. The kids’ mom posed for the art department last year and I wondered if it is a picture of her. On the radio you said there was a picture, can you tell me the URL? Please don’t use my name, Thank you.

Last night I heard you discuss what you believe as discrimination against gay marriages. I believe you agreed that marriage means little from a government standpoint. But it means a lot when it comes to benefits from employers and tax breaks…which (besides validation of the lifestyle) seems to be the real drive in the gay marriage question.

I believe Jason suggested that the government institute Unions or some non-religious agreement that could be entered into by gays or straits. These unions would have to be treated equally by employers. But I wondered…if this is the case, could a woman legally Union with her mother or sister and therefore obtain benefits for these people and their children? And if that is the case, could a woman Union with her mother and therefore receive benefits for all her siblings? If this were not allowed, could you explain how that would not be discrimination?

Marriages or Unions among family members has been forbidden in the past to prevent birth defects. But if you throw procreation out..as you would with gays…what reasoning could you give to prevent families from forming platonic Unions with each other for health benefits?

Also, the largest pedophile ring prosecuted in recent world history was homosexual in nature. (The Catholic Church scandal). I would be interested in your discussing whether this was a fluke, or a red flag.

    thanks

I realize that you may not have the luxury of having the stats in front of you as you are on the radio, but from the information I have been able to access our debt to gdp ratio is actually 83% rather than 60% as you have said with projections to hit 94% for the fiscal year 2011. Also as I have heard from budget projections there currently is no end in sight. We are only 1 to 3 years from the all time high of WWII era 120% without having a Hitler or Imperial Emperor to fight. It is a little scary.

Debt to GDP is projected at 60.8% until FY 2014. Any reports you’re hearing that we’ll be to 120% within 1 to 3 years are erroneous. In fact, debt growth that rapid would be impossible in a 3 year period, simply because of economic checks inherent in the financial systems.

The other day your program was speaking about the new imigration law in Arizona, and the temporary injunction against it.

I’d like to weigh in on the subject, I’ve started a blog about it. imigrationreform.blogspot.com
